11 Resolutions for 2021

 

1. Put some lines, once a week on my journal.
2. Take the time to enjoy the day and reflect once a day minimum.
3. Keep jogging every day for at least 30 minutes.
4. Continue meal planning and improve my diet in the process(reduce LDL).
5. Send letter and post cards to my family and friends as a reminder of my appreciation.
6. Select and print some symbolic photos and hang them as a reminder of good memories.
7. Invest in stocks and diversify my assets for retirement. 
8. Start online venture and keep online writing. See where it can take me at the end of the year.
9. Continue d'améliorer mon côté amoureux pour faire plaisir à ma conjoite.
10. Certification technique, continue my continuous training for Agile and Scrum.
11. Become the best father I can be, the most important job of my life.

Bye 2020, Welcome 2021

It has been such a wild ride this last year 2020 with the pandemic, the lockdowns, all life affected to an extreme. But 2021 promise to be a better year or at least something that would be less of a surprise. For me the fact that I could work from home and be next to my girlfriend was a very important thing. This 2021 even with the fact that my sister has a medical condition that we have not yet got the final results we will remain together to push out of the woods. For now the baby, the improvement of my sister's conditions and the hope of a new year should prove something of a new day.

Christmas 2020

So this year the pandemic brought many changes and disruptions that completely affected our life and traditions, and was not only adjustments but like this Christmas eve,  here in Quebec, we were not allowed to visit family or friends which gave us a different sense of  this season which usually is a big for family gatherings. Thankfully we now have many technologies to our disposal to keep in touch, and it is, even if not the same, at least a less of an lonely Christmas, cause you can have videochats with your family at least.

Pour la plupart de cette année 2020, le télétravail, la distanciation social, les masques et tout les trucs reliés à la pandémie, font de ce période un situation unique dans ma vie et sûrement dans la vie de plusieurs personnes.

Anabel's birthday 2020

We rented a chalet next to the Mauricie river to celebrate Anabel's birthday. It is a cozy place with a spa outised and lots of wood to burn. Simple and calm like we like it.  I am really happy for the mental health of my partner and the fact that she is pregnant. Really happy to become a father. Something that we waited for a long time.

As for my sister, she is still in the hospital since November 9th which is something that it really stresses me out since is not a good situation. I want to support all I can, 

I only hope everything goes better with her treatment. Wishing she could recover from this. Sending all my love to my sister.
